King's Quest II: Romancing The Throne

King's Quest II: Romancing The Throne is the second release in the King's Quest franchise, developed by Roberta Williams and first released to the market in 1987. This remastered version has been available for free download since 2002, with all the improvements expected given the the time that's passed.

These improvements include a makeover of the graphics, leaving the game looking much better than the original, and a complete reworking of the voices, adding some deluxe dubbing. Additionally, the interface has been slightly modernized to make it more accessible.

On this occasion, and unlike what happened with the remake of the first game (also available on Uptodown), the changes and improvements also affect the story and the characters, which have been substantially improved in this version. The original game had some mistakes and loose ends, but luckily they've now been corrected.

King's Quest II: Romancing The Throne is a magnificent graphic adventure even by today's standards. It has beautiful graphics, deluxe dubbing, a good soundtrack, and an outstanding story and characters.
